Recommendations:

• When preparing the pipe flaring operation, it is crucial to ensure that the pipe does not extend more than 3.5mm beyond the clamping rail. Exceeding this parameter often leads to deformation of the flared surface, resulting in lateral bending and breakage of the guide pin in the flaring tool.

• The copper pipe should be cut using a tubing cutter. After cutting, the pipe end and the opening should be deburred with a file to ensure a flat surface on the pipe end and to prevent any crimping of the pipe opening.
